Hello -
We have a client experiencing an odd behavior in Client 9.2.1 in only one folder that we've been able to identify - if a user opens a document in this folder and makes any kind of change to it that requires a Save, as soon as it saves, the document is deselected in the folder browser and the window scrolls to the top, so the user loses their place in the contents pane. In testing, we have found:
- This happens to any user.
- This happens from any workstation.
- This only happens in this one particular folder.
- This folder also contains a few subfolders, and this issue does not happen with documents contained in these subfolders.
This folder has approx. 1100 documents in it, some of them LF documents and some PDF's, as well as some subfolders as mentioned. We have tested this on other folders that contain approx. the same number of documents and subfolders, with LF documents only and no e-docs and/or subfolders in the folder, sorting by different columns, turning off all columns, turning on/off the Document Preview Pane and the Folder Pane, and checking/unchecking the Refresh Folders Automatically option, but none of this had any effect. We also ensured that all users' Column Options were set to Applied To All Folders, and not Remembered For Each Individual Folder, and have tried with both Browser window and Document window Maximized/not Maximized.
Does anyone have any other ideas? This is a heavily used folder, so it is definitely impacting users.
Thanks - Jim
