Document not separating after running quickfields

i ran a quickfields session on our checks today and for the most part checks were separated but others were attached to another check.  what could cause this?

Armando,

When you say "attached to another check", does that mean there were two pages to the document?  Or a single page with two checks?

yes so we had a pdf with 150 checks that are one page and when i ran quickfields, 120 were correct as individual checks, with the template, while the other 30 had 2 checks in one document.
