Copy metadata from a LF electronic document to a scanned PDF document with the same name in workflow.

I have a customer who has created an electronic document in LF and filled in metadata from a template. They then scanned a document and named it the same name as the electronic document. Any suggestions on how to copy the metadata from the electronic document to the PDF document? The documents are in different folders.

Are you talking about Laserfiche Metadata? If you know the folder path of the electronic document, you can use a Find Entry activity to locate it, using the name as a token in the folder path. Then use the Copy Metadata activity to put all the metadata from the electronic document onto the PDF.

I am getting an entry not found error. Attached is my workflow. I do a find entry on the index folder, and then a find entry on the image folder. For each index, i use the copy metadata and get the entry not found error.
