Once you make a volume permanent, it cannot be revoked. You will have to export the volume in question then attach the exported volume. You can then detach and delete the permanent volume at that point since it will be a copy.

I did the below and it worked
- I remove the read only flag from the folder properties
- In the repository database there is a table called vol i selected the permanent volume and edited the vol_flags to 38
- Restarted the laserfiche server service

Hi, I have a customer that is wanting to revert a Permanent volume as well. Has your reverted volume been working normally ever since the reverse date? thanks!

Its strange that I could mark and unmark as permanent on our Oracle-based system on 10.3.1, but when we migrated to SQL, I can't undo marking the volume as permanent.
What's the best way to undo this? I'd like to avoid exporting and importing again if possible.
