Forms 10 Always Up to Date Inbox Question

asked on November 6, 2015 Show version history

When watching the What's New in Laserfiche 10 webinar that covered Forms, it was mentioned that the inbox of a user updates in real time. If I have a process with a user task and have User A assigned to that user task, but then need to assign User B to the same task, will User B be able to see all user tasks that were already at that user task?

If the task is assigned to the entire Team. then all team members will see it in the Available task list. (new members will also see it)

Hi there,

If you reassign task to user A and user B, it'll show up under Available task list in real time. (It used to be under A's Assigned tab, because it's assigned to one, now it's two people, so it's under Available tab)

Abby, we would not be reassigning the task to user A, because user A would already have the task. We would just be adding user B to the same task user A is already assigned to. When doing that in Forms 10, will tasks that were already assigned to user A now show for user B?

Hi Blake,

You cannot add user B to an existing assigned task, you will need to reassign task to A and B.

So with teams in Forms 10 if we add a member to a team do tasks that were already assigned to the team show up for the new member or do all of those tasks have to now be reassigned for them to show up as well?

If the task is assigned to a Role within the Team, would the task appear to the new members added to that role?
