Laserfiche Server Service Error 1067

Client had Weblink,  We had to remove the Laserfiche server and Weblink applications from Rio DS before being able to renew the Rio License.

When adding the applications again it was successful.

But when trying to start the Laserfiche Server Service we get the following error:

 

"Error 1067: 'The process terminated unexpectedly"

There is an article on this but it is very old for LF 7.

Hi Chase,

 

Like Michael says I would take a look in the event viewer for some more information. Also I would try re-generating the license for the Laserfiche Server from Rio License Manager or LFDS (whichever you are using).

Are SQL and the LF server in the same machine?  If so, check the server service account and change it to local system and try restarting again.

If it still gives you the same issue, were there any changes made to the system hardware?  If so, delete the LF.licx for the server, go to the Directory Server or License Manager, delete the current registration for the server, register it again and generate a new license.  Place the lf.licx in the server folder and restart it.

Check the Application event log. There might be an error logged there by LFS.
