Hi All,

Interesting point raised by a customer today. I'm surprised this isn't already available. It was kind of mentioned in point 1 on this post https://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/75237/Laserfiche-ClientTemplate.

Would it be possible to have a field description available to be displayed over the field or on field mouse-over within the Laserfiche Client? It works really well within Laserfiche Forms and you can give informational messages to the user about what needs to be in the field.

For my use cases, I would love descriptions that could be based on the relationship of what template the field is in.

This helps when clarifying the business language for the users and cutting down on total fields, especially for things like "Date".
