Question

Re-Assign Form to different Process Model

asked on November 3, 2015

How do I re-assign a form from one process model to another. It seems to be saving all of my forms under the same process.

Ok, thank you. My VAR helped me by copying the entire BP one for each form and renaming each new BP for the correct form and then deleting the additional forms out of the BPs.

So I had 4 forms in one BP but only wanted 1 form in 1 BP. We copied the BP three times, renamed each copy and deleted the un-needed forms out of the copies.

Before I answer this question, I want to make sure we have the terminology correct so we are both on the same page. With Laserfiche Forms you create Processes. A process is usually a single business process. A single process can have multiple forms created within.

If you have created forms within a single Process and want to move them to another Process, you cannot currently do that. You would need to create the form within the correct process and then delete it out of the incorrect process.

Is it still not possible to re-assign a form to a different process model? I have multiple forms, each with their own processes and have been tasked with consolidating them into a single one. Is there a way to do this? Or do I need to rebuild each form in the new process?
