Can you perform a quick search and have it find documents that are in the Recycle Bin?
This is a new feature for Laserfiche 10. It's available in both the Desktop Client 10 and Web Access 10. It's not a quick search per se, but you do have the ability to search specifically in the recycle bin.
This feature not available in Laserfiche 9.
It is not showing up for me. I am choosing an advanced search, then within folder, and when I go to select the recycle bin it does not show in the folder list.
In the desktop client, right click on the recycle bin node in the left pane and choose "Search Recycle Bin". In Web Access, go to the recycle bin and click the magnifying glass in the command bar.
I cannot find a method in workflow to find entries in recycle bin. Looking to Delete to recycle bin for review, then search recycle bin to purge entries meeting criteria.
I would perform the search within the client and copy the Advanced Search Syntax to use in a Search Repository activity within Workflow.
Copying Advanced Search syntax works in general, but NOT for recycle bin searches. In other words, you can do recycle bin searches interactively. But I have NOT found a methodology to perform searches of the recycle bin within Workflow. Would love to find a methodology...
If anyone has found a way to search recycle bin via workflow e.g. 0kb file size would love to know as well
