Effective Communication for the Technical Professional

Laserfiche Administrators, IT staff and other technical professionals often are required to communicate technical concepts, new project ideas and project status reports to business executives and managers. However, communication styles that work for a technical audience may not necessarily resonate with department managers. To help you achieve better results, this session will provide practical techniques on how to:

  • Use different communication styles to convey your ideas to a non-technical audience.
  • Develop a clear point of view or high-level business case to influence adopting new ideas and projects.
  • Use an issue-based problem solving approach to analyze and communicate solutions to problems.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations and status reports.
