We have a series of forms that have collection fields. In each collection, there's a bunch of fields, including a File Upload field.
We need the Save to Repository activity in the process modeler to allow assigning each attachment the values from its own collection.
For example, we have a Receipt Submission form. It has a collection, and each collection item has the following:
- Vendor
- Receipt Date
- Receipt Amount
- Receipt Description
- Receipt Picture (File Upload)
In the repository, each receipt picture needs its metadata to have its vendor, date, amount and description.
Currently we have to store the attachments without metadata, invoke a workflow from the process modeler and then do a whole bunch of what I call "workflow gymnastics" behind the scenes to iterate through each row, find its attachment file (which in itself is an ordeal) and then assign it the values in that row. Seems way harder than it needs to be.
