We recently upgraded to Avante from 8.3. Since then I continually see the Index status in the Admin console coming up as Unknown. We have recreated the index file but after a while it shows up as Unknown again. Our VAR stated the index folder is being corrupted by our backups which run hourly using Appassure. They suggested making an exception in the backups to omit the search folder or stop the indexing service in Laserfiche before doing the backup. I can only set Appassure backups at the volume level so that isn't an option unless I create a new volume for just the search folder. Does anyone have a better work around?
