Question

How to apply stamp on a document?

asked on October 27, 2015

Hi all,

1. I want to apply the stamp tool on a document. For e.g: If an invoice has been verified, the officer can simply add the stamp 'Verified' on the document. Can somebody explain me how to do this?

2. Can we add access rights for the stamp tool? Only a specific group of users can use the stamp tool.

Thanks

In the Laserfiche client document viewer, open the stamp manager (on the toolbar or click on Annotations->Stamp...) and create a public stamp by either uploading an image or making a custom stamp. Other users will be able to see the stamp if it is public. Documentation on the stamp manager can be found here.

Hi,

I have created 2 personal stamps, one for a bmp image and one for date. I want to allow access rights for only a specific group to be able to apply the stamp tool on the scanned document.

Thanks

There is currently no way to restrict stamps based on users or groups, they are either public and accessible by everyone or personal and only seen by a single user.

If you are referring to the ability to apply an annotation (like a stamp) at all, then that is controlled by the "Annotate" entry access right. See this page for more information.

I mentioned that I create 2 personal stamps. This is being used for a specific department. How will I make it accessible to a user?

Thanks
