Can we deny some users to view/access document text through Web Access 9.1.1?

One issue is that the desktop client will allow you to highlight an area of a document (which does not highlight text, it just draws a box) and copy it. when you paste that into notepad all the text is there.
The current version of web access doesn't have that functionality (you have to open the text window) but the next version of web access might. (We'll find out soon!) So the solution of removing the button might not be enough, it sounds as if you need a whole new security right.
What might help if storage space isn't as much of a concern is to create copies of the documents for this audience and remove the text on them so it's not there. But removing that text also means there's no text searching using those documents either.
For clarification, is this done for security reasons, or for screen layout / user preference reasons?
If this is done for security reasons, please use redaction.
It's for security reasons.
Can you please explain further as how could I use redaction on text?
Also, I will need to hide this text area from some of the user and not from all, so I could create a group and have them users added in that group and hide the text area from that group.
Could you expand on your use case for restricting just the text from users for security reasons, while retaining access to the image itself? It's not a scenario I've encountered before.
Sorry i should have explained in detail.
So we want to restrict users to copy text. I know user can still make a note of text by looking at the image but this is just an option we are exploring if we can stop the user from copying text generated by ocr.

Yeah, I'm mostly having to repeat what Chris put. That particular scenario isn't really one that you can do currently. Redactions would work to prevent copying, but then you wouldn't even be able to see it in the first place. There's a feature right for editing text, but not for just copying it out.
Users will not have access to Desktop Client and they only have access to Web Client.
But, I think I have got answer to my question.
Thanks for all your help guys.
