Question

Laserfiche Workflow Pull from a SharePoint List or Library?

asked on October 21, 2015

I see in Workflow where I can Write to or Delete from a SharePoint library.  But what about copying things from a SharePoint Library?  Is that possible?

Backround:  Kerberos is not implemented, therefore, SharePoint Integration (LF SharePoint Integration cannot reliably talk to WebAccess even with it on the same server as RIO, assuming it needs kerberos no matter what) and Records Retention Policies cannot be used.

LaserFiche RIO V9 in use.

Hello Eric,

While this functionality is not available out of the box in Workflow, once you have set up the SharePoint Integration, you can manually send documents from SharePoint to Laserfiche and use it as a Record Center. After that you have the option leave the document in SharePoint, delete it, or replace it with a link to it in Web Access.

To help you get started, I am attaching a white paper on Kerberos Configuration and here is a link to the help files related to SharePoint Integration.

Version 9 of the Web Access integration does support claims authentication mode.  Since it does this by converting the claim to a Windows identity it does still require configuring delegation similar to the way you would with Kerberos.  See this whitepaper for more information.
