Question

Weblink not showing multiple Repositories

asked on October 20, 2015

Recently saw this issue where their primary repository, COD,  is already configured.  Adding another repository I chose the Add option and there isn't an option for the other repository located on the server.

It's a working Repository and there is no issues within.  Just to make sure I did do a server restart and service restart on the server to verify, no change though.

From your initial post, you mentioned that WebLink already has a repository configuration set for COD. Now you're trying to add a second repository configuration for another repository. However, since the customer is using the WebLink Distribution Portal, that isn't allowed as specified by the licensing rules for that edition of WebLink. If the customer has a need to have WebLink configured for their multiple repositories, then you will need to contact the Laserfiche Order Desk to change the edition of WebLink the customer has as well as make sure to specify that they want WebLink to be able to connect to their multiple repositories.

You can type the repository name into that field and not have to rely on the drop down.

I am not able to type in the repository field.  Only search via the drop down menu.  Is there possibly a way to disable this or is the weblink not working properly?

Is this for the Web Distribution Portal or is the edition of WebLink the customer is using only licensed to connect to one repository? If you already have one repository configuration set, then adding a second repository configuration will enforce that a different repository can't be added.
