Question

Is it possible to view folder relationships in Web Access 9.2?

asked on October 19, 2015

Hi all,

I used LF Client to create a relationship link between folders. The links are visible in the Windows client. However I'm unable to view the link in Web Access. WA does show document links but the hyperlink for Links is missing for folders. Has anyone else seen this? More importantly, is there a solution?

When viewing folder metadata in Web Access 9, the document relationship information is not visible. This is something that will be available in the upcoming Web Access 10 release.

Alexander,

As I'm about to rollout with v9.2 and there's no time or scope for a major upgrade. Is it likely there will be another service pack for Web Access 9.x and can you can count this thread as a vote for this fix?

Hi Ben,

There is the possibility of a service pack for Web Access 9.2, but that'd only be for bug fixes and such. This issue is regarding functionality that just wasn't available in Web Access before and was added for Web Access 10 so this wouldn't be something that would be addressed by a Web Access 9.2 service pack.
