Adding the Entry ID from the Links tab

Hi all,

Is it possible to add the Entry ID on the 'Links' tabs from the Metadata template? Let's say I have a linked document, I want to have this additional information on the column near the Comments field. This will be easy for referencing.

There is currently no column for the Entry ID in the Metadata tab. Why would the entry ID be easier for referencing than the document name and location? Also, keep in mind that not all users are allowed to see the entry ID by default.

Hi Miruna,

Infact, this is a customer request and this will help them to reference linked documents in their Comments field box(For instance, they can write something like 'refer to the Doc. ID 5 from the Linked documents' instead of 'Application for overseas leaves' whenever inserting comments). The entry ID has been enabled on all users' profile. Infact, the Entry ID will be a Document ID for them.
