Need to transfer files from Laserfiche to NTFS

Dear All,

I need to transfer files from Laserfiche repository to NTFS.

However, when copying, cut to NTFS, i am getting shortcuts instead of the document itself.

Note that I have more than 1500 documents in different folders and subfolders.

I have tried to export folder contents, however am getting double copies of the same documents or the document in notepad version.

Is there a simple way to copy documents from laserfiche and paste it on NTFS.

On the client, you can do a File > Export. See "Exporting Information from Laserfiche" in the Laserfiche Client Help.

Note, this exports a copy from LF. You can put it anywhere you want.

Hello Raymond,

When exporting the folders and documents, am getting multiple copies of the same document in different format ( jpeg, wordpad) and same pdf version in multiple copies.

Did you follow the directions in the help file? If so, how exactly did you export the file? As noted earlier, exporting from the LF client only exports a copy of the file. The original will still be in the LF repository.

What is your ultimate goal here? Perhaps if you explain to us what the goal is, we can help you better.
