What is the "best" airport to fly into for Empower 2016?
I'd vote for Long Beach if that's an option for you. It's tiny compared to LAX, so security lines are fast and your bags are usually out in about 20 minutes after landing.
Hi Stephen! The closest airport is Long Beach, CA (LGB). Other airports close to Long Beach are LAX (Los Angeles) and SNA (John Wayne Airport, Orange County).

I would fly in and out of Long Beach (LGB) to avoid the freeway traffic going to/coming from LAX or SNA.
I have flown into Long Beach many times. It is small, easy to get around, and a great experience every time. It is limited by what airlines fly in there though. If you your airline doesn't go into LGB, then I would suggest Orange County.
