Please first refer to this page regarding access to the licensing site. Members of the local Administrators group on the web server where Laserfiche Directory Server is installed will have full access. Also, members of the Laserfiche Directory Server Administrators local group on that server will have full access.

Hello Chad,

I notice you're on the Accounts view. The Security tab is under the Settings view at the top of the page. From there you can access and configure site-wide security.

You'll need to create an organization first and then select it.

Or refer to James' response if you are talking about LFDS site wide security configuration.

I want to setup another System Manager like myself. When I got to settings > security there is no one listed under there and no settings to allow for managing users, etc. Where is the System Manager's area?

Once you create either a user or an organization from the Accounts view, you can switch to the Settings > Security tab and set their permissions. Is that what you're looking for?

Alternatively, you can create a System Managers organization and add users to that organization, then set permissions for the group of users from within the Accounts > Organizations > [That Organization] > Security tab.

As a note, the list of users on the database page is those that already have security set,  not a list of users you can add security to.

To add users:

Aha, it was needing to add them to the Windows Group that I was looking for. Thank you!
