What does "Ttags: 1" mean?

On certain folders when viewing the metadata the 'Tags' tab looks like this, while the documents in the folder show the Tags tab without the number. Does anyone know what causes this?

It's the count of tags assigned to the document. It's really handy if there are lots of tags in the repository because the list is long and alphabetically sorted, so it was not easy for users to know how many were assigned without scrolling.
