Error Code 9451

Hi,

My search bar on the desktop client gives me error code 9451: The search catalog could not be created or it failed to start. Please check the Windows Application event log for details. [9451].

I'm unsure what steps I need to take to fix this. I'm not familiar with the event log. Can anyone advise me as to how to fix this issue?

The event log is on the LF server machine, so an administrator might need to check it. From windows explorer, right click on "Computer" and choose "Manage" to open Computer Management. Find the Application log like in this screenshot:

The event will be with a Source of "LFS".

Thanks Rob,

 

I'm assuming i'll need to reach out to the IT team on my side? I don't see an event with LFS under source.
