Ability to see everyone's documents in the recycle bin

Hi,

We are running version 9.2.1.562 of the Laserfiche desktop client. There appears to be a limitation where users can only see documents that were deleted by them in the recycle bin. The 'Administrators' appear to be the only ones who can see everyone's deleted files in the recycle bin.

Is there a security setting that can be modified which allows everyone to see all the deleted files in the recycle bin?

Hi Anoop.

The user will need to have the "Manage Entry Access" privilege in order to see the global recycle bin. I've attached the Laserfiche recycle bin white paper for your reference.

Note that Manage Entry Access is a very powerful privilege, granting read access to all documents in the repository.

Thanks Chris and Robert. Yes, it looks like Manage Entry Access is a powerful feature and I would be hesitant to give it to the users who have limited permissions at this stage (they managed to delete the root folder on the very first day!)
