Error Message: The user account or password is incorrect. [9010]

Some users cannot login to the repository - they are getting either Access Denied or  The user account or password is incorrect. I checked permissions and they have all that is needed to be able to view the repositories.

Laserfiche version - 8.3.0.514.

Users are in groups and Windows accounts.

Resolved: I removed all the permissions on the root folder and added the groups back, making sure "Trusted" was selected for each group - it works now.

Hi Hadas,

 

Are these new users? Or are they being setup for the first time? Did they used to be able to log in? If so, what has changed since the last time they were able to logon?

Thank you for your reply.

New users - working remotely mostly. Were never logged in before. I tried some test users and after setting the correct permission to the root folder - some are able to login, other are still getting the same error - Access denied. I checked effective permissions and they are supposed to be able to get to the folders.
