Question

Rounting documents to a set of folder

asked on September 15, 2015

Hi everyone!

I am trying to build a workflow that will get documents from a folder, and than distribute those documents to a group of folders. Example, in the mains folder I will have 10 documents, and I have 5 folders, user 1,user2,user3,etc.., workflow will get the documents and will distribute equaly to those user folders!.. Is there a way to do that??, I am thinking in using Routing entry to group, but I don't know how to use that activity well!, so if there is any tip in how to do that , I Will grateful!!, thank you.

Regards,

Vitor

When you choose the round-robin option, you have an option to set the folders for the users.

You can also set them through the Trustee Provider Configuration dialog available from the Tools menu. If you search for the group, you'll also get a list of its users, so you can open each user's properties and set a folder.

Ok, now I got it, thank you very much!, I don´t know exacly why, it was showing up an error when I would click to check the name on the set user folder link. But now it is working fine.

Thank you for the help.

The round-robin option in Route to Group does exactly what you're asking for.
