Generate Pages causes text to become unreadable

For some PDFs, trying to Generate Laserfiche pages seems to make the text unreadable, creating weird lines of black/white spaces. I've uploaded two pictures, one from an import that didn't generate Laserfiche pages (which remained as a PDF), and another with generated Laserfiche pages. There isn't any security on the original document, though it appears to be scanned. How can I fix this?

This is an issue with the third party component that Laserfiche uses to generate pages from PDFs. The next version of Laserfiche will include the patched version of this component. For now, a workaround would be to use Snapshot to generate images from the PDF.
