Hi All,

Trying to install LF Mobile 9.2.1 onto Windows 10 X64 demo machine, but showing error when installing under any admin user.

App log in event viewer shows:-

Activation context generation failed for "C:\Laserfiche\Software\LF Mobile 9.2.1\en\LFMobile\Setup.exe".Error in manifest or policy file "" on line . A component version required by the application conflicts with another component version already active. Conflicting components are:. Component 1: C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\manifests\amd64_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_6.0.10240.16384_none_f41f7b285750ef43.manifest. Component 2: C:\WINDOWS\WinSxS\manifests\x86_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_6.0.10240.16384_none_3bccb1ff6bcd1849.manifest.

Any ideas?

This non-critical error with side-by-side assemblies has been reported and fixed and will be available in the future releases of Laserfiche products (it's an setup.exe problem) - but it's also safe to ignore, it will not impede the installation.

Unfortunately, LF Mobile is not yet supported with Windows 10 yet at this time.

https://support.laserfiche.com/KB/1013666 contains a list of the supported OSes for Mobile 9.3.
