Account Conversion utility Experience?

Does anyone have any experience with the Account Conversion Utility? Has anyone ran on version 9 (download appears to use 8.3 toolkit)? Has anyone ran into any issues? What is the expected time it takes to run the app. Is it best to run after hours?

We are just looking for any user experience with the utility and how was the experience?

Use Case:

We have a customer that has been using Laserfiche since version 6 and they have over 200 + users that are setup as Laserfiche Acccounts. The customer is looking to add 100+ users and multiple repositories in the near future. They want to implement AD accounts with directory named licenses. They don't want to have a mix of AD accounts and LF accounts.

Hi Steven,

Laserfiche Account Conversion Utility is supported by repositories that are on Laserfiche 8.0 and above.

The time it takes to run the app is mostly determined by two factors: The number of users to be transferred, and the settings selected to be copied from Laserfiche accounts to Domain accounts. For example, if multiple users have a large number of unique rights, processing time could be increased.

I would recommend that if you are running the utility on the production database, it should not be run during normal business hours, when users are attempting to access the repository.
