Question

Question

submitting forms from public

asked on September 2, 2015

Is there a way to use Laserfiche so that the public can submit PDF forms?  I have been reading about the LF Forms and the Forms Portal, however, we do not have that licensing module.

We would like to have PDF forms on our external website.  Public would login and complete the PDF form.  Then submit it, which I then need in LF for eDocs processing.

You would need to have a way using a website or something for them to upload the PDF and store it on a server. After that, you would then either need a custom Workflow script or Import Agent to grab that file and import it into Laserfiche.

I would personally say if you can afford it, purchasing Forms is well worth it.

Hi Bonnie,

I am just starting with forms, but my understanding is that you would create a web form (instead of an Adobe form) and then it can be imported into Laserfiche as a .pdf file

I'll have much more info after this week :-)
