I have created new repository and i need to configure workflow, when i tried to configure, the prerequisite needed shown,Wokflow server is configured and Workflow subscriber also configured without any error, but when i try to configure monitored repositories,in register repository section, server is loaded and shown as valid with the tick sign but when i click the repository dropdown, the repositories not loaded and i manually entered repository name, authentication information, the messagebox shown as 'Could not connect Laserfiche server'.whats wrong here?

Is there a firewall between the Workflow and Laserfiche Server? Is the LF Server running? Can you connect to it from the LF Client on the Workflow machine? Is the LF Server running on a non-standard port?

Hi,

Has anything ever come from this because i have the exact same issue where Workflow or Forms can't connect to the LF Server?

Thanks

There was never enough information to troubleshoot in this thread. Same questions as above. If LFS is running on a non-standard port, was the port also typed in (servername:port)?

Hi Miruna,

I am not using Standard port on LF, but using port 999 as listening port.

I checked on Forms and Workflow configuration it doesnt allow me to select the Repository. I have changed it more than a month ago and workflow had no issue up until today. Anything else i can check?

If everything was working, what changed today that made you want to reconfigure Workflow?

Hi Miruna,

I think the server had a moment, it is working fine again now. Thanks for your quick responses.

I am having this exact issue.  I have two servers and both have LF server service, LF workflow service installed.  The first server is working perfectly.  The second server PD1 I can't get the repository to show up in the drop-down.  I can login to Laserfiche client on the PD1 server using the account I specify no problem.  Firewalls are turned off.  All services are logging in as the local system account.  The configuration tool let me configure the workflow server and subscriber no problem.  I've tried using just the server name, the ip address and the fully qualified server name - all the same result - it says it can't connect to the Laserfiche server.  I re-ran the workflow installation and repaired it.  Same problem.

If I put the other server name in the Server: box the drop-down will show me that repository.

Please help.

Sandy
