Can we put Laserfiche STAMPS on PDF

Our submitted forms are stored as PDF in the repository. When I open the PDF, 'Stamp' icon is grayed out and I can not put a stamp on a PDF file. I can put 'Stamps' on TIFF files without any issues.

So, I just wanted to confirm if we cannot put Stamp on PDF or is it that I am missing some settings.

 

If puting a stamp on PDF is not possible, is there a way to convert the TIFF file to PDF after putting the STAMPS?

Hello Manish,

You can apply Stamps to PDFs only when you have the 'image' displayed rather than the 'electronic file' views.

Please note though that Jonathan's response does not actually stamp the PDF.  It is stamping the TIFF image in the repository.  Laserfiche does not have tools at this time to annotate PDFs directly.

So, if stamping a PDF is not possible, can we stamp the TIFF and then convert it to PDF? Is there a way to convert TIFF to PDF ?

If you would like to use annotations on the images, why not keep the pages as images? What functionality does the PDF offer that you don't get from images?
