Use Quick Fields to assign a security tag to a document

Can Quick Fields be used to assign a security tag to a document?  (I know that Quick Fields can pick up documents based on their tags, but can Quick Fields conditionally assign tags, based on token processing or otherwise?

You can only apply the tags per document class.  You cannot include them or exclude them based on any rules, only on a per class basis.  You would have to have the documents store to Laserfiche and then maybe have a workflow assign the tag based on the metadata.

I don't see an "Options" tab there.  We are on version 8.3 , BTW.  Possible in version 8.3?

Yes, there is a tags tab.

There is a tags tab, but it looks like this:

I.e. there's no mechanism there for conditionally including/excluding the tag.
