Is there a way to use Import Agent to upload to a hosted site at another location through Web Access?

We are thinking about hosting for a customer and they will want us to monitor a folder on their network to import to Laserfiche.  Is this possible?  Can I install Import Agent at their location and send it through Web Access?

Import Agent does not go through Web Access, it would need to be able to connect to the Laserfiche server.  There are ways to do this securely (vpn, etc).  Another approach could be to have IA running on the hosting network and have the folder replicated from one network to the other, which lets you keep access to Laserfiche contained within the one network.

You may want to discuss how to sell/license this with your regional manager, as hosting another companies data in your repository is against Laserfiche Terms of Service and Licensing Agreement.
