Windows Update, Kodak Perfect Page scanner, and Laserfiche Client 9.1.1.486

A customer is using Kodak Perfect Page 600 series scanner software &  Laserfiche Client on a Windows desktop.

Following most recent Windows Updates this weekend (not clear on which exact update :(    ) ,  the customer tries to open scanning within the Laserfiche Client and receives message that the "Document Manager cannot load templates".  Her client hangs, and she is forced to use task manager to terminate the Laserfiche application.  

Any clues?

Could you post a screenshot of the message, please? It does not sounds like a Laserfiche error.

Sorry, I should clarify, the Laserfiche Scanning client just hangs and never loads properly.

Within the Document Manager panel, the message "Loading template information...."  is frozen.

Have you tried to run a repair on the client? Please go ahead and attempt that. You can also attempt to apply the hotfix for that version. It can be found at the following link. If you are still having issues please contact your VAR to further troubleshoot the issue.

Does it happen for all users on the machine or just a specific one?

It was on just this user's machine.  Resolved itself as user re-booted again.   Possibly the Windows updates did not complete properly or the machine wasn't rebooted in a timely manner, I am not clear on the the entire sequence.  She is now working ok with the scanner.  Thank you for the suggestions.

Hello all, I have the version 9.1.1.486 of Laserfiche at work when I run the send button stops responding and to solve I have to turn off and turn on the computer. scanner used  Fujitsu fi-6130z and FI6240

recently updated to version because I thought that was the problem and upgrade to version 9.1.1.584 of Laserfiche but when did that change no longer answered the Laserfiche Kofax calling the Fujitsu scanner, as it did not work had to return to the version 9.1.1.486 of Laserfiche

please anyone knows how to solve this problem would greatly appreciate it
