Copying Connector profiles from workstation to workstation?

asked on August 25, 2015

Hello – wondering if anyone has been successful copying LF Connector profiles from machine to machine?  Ours won’t show up in the application(s) that they are intended for.  Same application exists (e.g. Munis 11.1) from machine to machine.  OS is Windows 7.  Users have local admin rights.  Java is the same version (8.5.2).  Connector profiles were built in 9.1 and are going to machines with 9.1 installed on it (ironically profiles built in 9.0 will come over, but 9.1 = no love).  Going to be an issue if we have to build the same Connector profiles for dozens of users over and over….

Thanks!

Brian

Hey Brian, can you send us a couple examples of the profiles from different machines, so we can see if there are things different between them. Ideally create them while logged so we can compare the elements on the machine as well. It's definetly supposed to work, so lets see if we can identify an issue there. Thanks!

Hi Brian, before going to the details of the profiles, could you please check if the profiles exist in Laserfiche Connector Configuration dialog, and if their status are OK? Thanks!

Hello - Huazhen - yes - all copied profiles do read as OK.   Justin - we are going to try to create a new profile with logging enabled and then will copy said profile to it's target machines.

Thanks!

Brian
