Rearrange Date Token Workflow

Hello, 

 

I'm trying to create a workflow that uses "Retrieve Field Date" to get the date from a template. The format that Laserfiche is using i guess as default is mm/dd/yyyy .

 

I'm trying to use this field to rename the document but i need it to be in yyyy-mm-dd . I'm using pattern matching but its not working. Is there another way of going about this?

Hello Juan, 

 

One way to accomplish this in Workflow is to use the "Apply Formatting" in the Token Editor dialog. Below is a picture of the Token Editor dialog where I have chosen the Date Field form my Retrieve Field Values activity and applied a formatting to that token.

*Note: Be sure to use the format "yyyy-MM-dd" since "yyyy-mm-dd" will interpret it as "year-minutes-day".
