Unable to register a new repository on Oracle 11g Express

Hello,

We are preparing a lab to show in one presentation to a customer using oracle database. I did follow the instruction as best as I could (https://www.laserfiche.com/support/webhelp/laserfiche/9.2/en-us/AdminGuide/Content/Attaching_a_Repository.htm ), but when I click on finish, the box Creating Repository goes on forever and does not finish, like in the screenshot attached.

Am I missing any configuration?, I do not think so, because the wizard creating repository does not show any error.

Is there any place with more detail information in how to install Laserfiche using oracle?

News about the subject.

I am not sure what was that I did, but after reinstalling the driver Oracle Data Access Components and installing the newest Laserfiche, when I was creating the repository again, in the TNS Service name  before was showing 3 options, but now was only blank, I insert "Localhost" , and than finished as usual and worked fine.

In the Laserfiche repository creation/registration wizard, please confirm that the ODBC driver name you're selecting matches up precisely with the driver name that you see in the "Drivers" tab of the ODBC Data Source Administrator in Windows.

 

You can also check the event viewer to check any registered error.

Hi Nishit Dani,

Thanks for the help! I checked I believed that it is the right driver, and there is no error registered on the event viewer, because of that it is hard to find out what is happening.

Facing the same issue ... Repository Creation keeps on running.

Please need help.

Installed Oracle Client 12 and using the Same while creating repository.

Any cross check available to solve the issue without uninstall and install Oracle Client 12 again.
