Format a Long Field Name

I have many fields that have long names, when the field is displayed the format looks terrible, it splits words etc.

It becomes even worse when I try to format the forms side by side using CSS...

What can I do to make these look better?

I have attached a screenshot of a normal field with no CSS and 3 fields that I have applied CSS to as well

I change nearly all my forms to have the labels at the top because of this. In the form editor go to Form Settings > Labels Alignment > Top. I feel it just works better the majority of the time without having to add tons of custom CSS.
