I need to forward my LF document to client via email, may be directly via Laserfiche or after exporting as PDF to my machine. My requirement is, if user has digitally signed the document then it should go along with the document so the person who is receiving the document can verify it or can understand that it is a valid document.

if I have 1000 client and adding daily as well, I am preparing offer/proposal for them, I don't want to print the document to save the paper and time to wait for sign, I will send it via email which should have digital signature so client can trust that it is a valid copy.
Why should I give the access of Laserfiche to the client, they are not part of my system or process. For contract we need to sign physical copy but for offer/proposal that can change multiple time due to negotiation. So why I will print the document multiple time? why I will wait for sign on the document? why I will spend for courier?
Hi Ashish,
As far as I was aware, digital signatures for Laserfiche are only available within Laserfiche and cannot be carried or applied outside the system. If you want to send documents off site for verification etc. you will need a different digital signature product. We use ARX cosign.
Hope this helps!
Thanks for the update.
It means you are applying digital signature again to document after exporting from Laserfiche.
ARX Cosign works within Laserfiche also, and the signature is valid inside or outside Laserfiche, inside or outside the organization.
Laserfiche Digital signatures can only be applied within Laserfiche. Laserfiche digital signatures cannot be applied outside Laserfiche.
ARX Cosign can be integrated with Laserfiche so we can apply digital signature using ARX Cosign. If we export/email the document from Laserfiche it will keep digital signature embedded, so client can view that it is digitally signed and valid copy.
That's right yes.
You can read more about the ARX Cosign integration here and Laserfiche’s integration with DocuSign here as another option.
