Question

Inbox doesn't load tasks (Specific to certain PC)

asked on July 24, 2015

Hi All,

We have a client who is attempting to approve some form submissions but their Inbox does not load.

We have been unable to reproduce the error ourselves. It seems like an issue local to that user.

We have tried firefox and chrome. They are using the same version of both as myself who is able to load the page successfully. Also our Java versions match.

Has anyone come across this issue before?

Hi Alistair,

Trying logging onto that PC as a different user and see if the issue persists. It could be an issue with the windows profile.

Hope this helps! smileyyes

Also, can the same user log into Forms on your machine and have it load correctly? If so, you may try installing CCleaner on their machine to clear out browser caches and other files that may fix the problem.

Chrome has a privacy dialog that allows you see the list of cookies and site data from a specific site for the user. From that dialog you can clear the cookies and site data. The user will be required to login again, but otherwise all cookies and site data should be able to re-populate once the user is logged in.

Chrome has a developer tools called "JavaScript console". There may be JavaScript errors specific to the user and the machine.

If you believe that the error is a software issue in Forms, please consider opening a case with support.

Has there been a fix to this?  We have a client with the same issue.  They created a new AD account and that account works.  I am not too familiar with AD, but it seems to point to that individual's AD Account.

They essentially have God permissions throughout their network but is there any ports or other policies with web browsing that may restrict this at a user AD account level?
