Slow to log into Weblink via Welcome page using Public id

We are using Weblink and the welcome page is set not to automatically log in. I put in the user Public and the password and it takes about 15 seconds to log into Weblink. Once you are in access is very fast.

The situation described in this KB article applies to the most common WebLink scenarios.  You can experiment with the registry value in the article.  If it does speed it up, you might want to configure your DNS so that a lookup on the incoming address will succeed, to avoid the downside mentioned.

That answer worked. Weblink now connects much faster to the Laserfiche server.
