Our Current LF server in admin is running on Windows 2012 64 bit. I want to upgrade it to 2012 R2. It is a very simple and straight forward upgrade and I want to have all my servers running the same NOS. I was wondering if you have a compatibility test done on 2012 R2. Is it OK to do this upgrade? Also, I want to upgrade our LF2 and LFSQL servers which are running 2008 R2 the new version as well. The 2 servers are running 2008 R2 and are very basic installs so the upgrade will go without any major problems. Has anyone done anything like this before?

Windows 2012 r2 and current versions of MSSQL Server are fully supported for Server 9, as listed in https://support.laserfiche.com/KB/1012418.

Justin,
I realize it's supported, but he's looking to upgrade just the OS on the server...does this create any issues? Will we have to reinstall, reactivate, or deactivate first?

Aha, I see. I don't believe you'll have to reinstall, although that would be playing it extra safe (and you wouldn't need to unconfigure anything, it'd just be the product if that). I WOULD recommend you deactivate, run the upgrade, and then reactivate - it's not uncommon for an OS change be enough for the hwfp.
