Unable to set System Managers in Adminsitration Console

This morning on of our accounts lost System Manager rights. I added the account explicitly to the System Managers and it still does not have System Manager rights. I now how both the local administrators group and the account in System Managers. Other users that are local administrators can use the System Manager components, just not this one account.

Did you follow the instructions as mentioned in the help files? I suggest to remove and try adding that user again to see if that resolves it.

Also, make sure that it is logging in as that user by clicking "Log in as System Manager to access Server-level functionality" link at the top of any page in the Web Administration Console.
