Send Email to User by setting schedule for some days using workflow

Hi,

I have a requirement that once the document is requested by the LF User,the document controller get email notification with attached document,once the document controller opens the document and change the metadata field by accepting the request,after that the user should submit the document after some days,so that i need to send notification email to user till the document is submitted to document controller.How can we achieve this by using Workflow?Am i need to use business process activity here?

Help me to work out it..

You can use the Route to User activity to send documents to users, wait for their action and email them repeatedly until they act on a document.

Hi Miruna,

As you said,that was the solution which meets my requirement,but the thing is that when i route entry to user,i don't want to save the entry to User's folder but to send email only.Is it possible to use route entry to user activity without setting any destination folder?

You can set the folder path to the current path of the entry so it does not actually move.
