Hi,

I would like to obtain some clarification around the [cf_sessions] and [cf_session_variables] tables.

The cf_sessions table appears to record the Incoming IP address of the form Submitter.

When A BIGIP device was introduced and monitoring the URL was put in place, a large number (26000) of records were created in cf_sessions and cf_session_variables with the IP and name of the device.

There's no option to reduce the lifetime of these sessions. You can try manually clear them. If it's taking too much space, you can consider write a script that deletes based upon some criteria e.g. IP that get stored.
