Question

Adding Laserfiche repository as a network place

asked on July 8, 2015

Hi,

I am using Laserfiche 9.2 version,my requirement is that from laserfiche forms,i need to access the repository folders to upload the document using File Upload Field. Is it possible to access the path inside the Laserfiche using File Upload field?

I tried to add Laserfiche repository as a network place in my local system, but  in map network drive window,i tried to map the network folder as http://mycomputername.laserfiche.com/lf ,but it shows the network error. How to solve this ?Is there any alternative way to meet my requirement?

Is the Forms Store to Laserfiche activity in the process modeller not sufficient?  It does not store the file directly to the repository, but it would route it to the repository after submission.

To clarify: are you asking for the ability to upload files that already exist in Laserfiche to a Form while filling it out?

It sounds like you are trying to set up WebDAV to set Laserfiche as a network folder to address this, but are having issues. Can you elaborate on what you've tried and what error you're getting?

Is the Laserfiche Server listening on port 80?

Do you have a default repository configured in the Laserfiche Administration Console's Server Settings?

Just to confirm, your domain is laserfiche.com and the Laserfiche Server hostname is Althaf? What if you try using the IP address of the Laserfiche Server instead of the fqdn?

Yes..Laserfiche server listening port is 80 and default repository also configured in server settings.

when i tried with the IP address, still same network error occurs.

IP address you meant the local IPV4  IP address right?
