Question

Inactive sessions in sql

asked on July 7, 2015

SQL Manager has noticed that at the end of the day and still no one be using the system are open user connections used in Laserfiche to connect to SQL (user that the database is logged LF). These connections reach 150 in a day and remain always open, never close.

We installed the server version of Laserfiche 9.2.1, the SQL used is SQL Server 2012 R2, any ideas?

Regarding this issue, a case has already being submitted with Laserfiche Technical Support,  through the case Support engineers are working directly with the var to resolve the issue.

In summary, there shouldn't be a large number of sleeping connections to sql. Possible root cause unclosed client connections, sdk applications that do not close connections properly , etc.

Laserfiche server trim the pool to a configurable minimal size every several minutes.
