Workflow stuck at the Wait for Entry Change activity

Hi all,

I am using a workflow to change the values in both a drop-down list and a text box respectively. I added a wait condition to see if a field (Staff List) has changed and field (Workflow Comments) has changed. Then, the new values from these 2 fields should be retrieved accordingly.

After changing these 2 values from my template, the workflow is stuck at the 'Wait for Entry Change' activity.

What does the Conditions tab in your instance details say? Did you look at the Subscriber Trace to see the evaluation of the entry change events?

Yes it is working fine.

However, I have a field 'Workflow Comments' of text type which has no default value which has been created from LF Administration Console. When I ran the workflow, the 'Workflow Comments' field does not appear on the document. But, when a default value is added, then the field displays on the document.

I want the Workflow Comments to hold no default value. Is it possible to do so?

Oh, you mean Workflow was adding the Comments field to the document as an independent field (not tied to a template) and not giving it a value? If that's the case, then no, it's not possible to set independent blank fields on a document, they have to have a value.
