No, Quick Fields Agent relies on Windows scheduled tasks, so the schedules need to be recreated on the new machine.

What about, on the machine hosting Quick Fields Agent,

1. copying Quick Fields Agent folder from<System Drive>:\ProgramData\Laserfiche.

2. Installing Quick Fields Agent on the new machine

3. Replace Quick Field Agent’s data folder on the new machine, with the backed version (step number:1)

Right, but the schedules in the ProgramData folder have corresponding Windows scheduled tasks. Currently, Quick Fields Agent won't recreate them if it doesn't find them on the machine.

Is there any updated information on this topic?

I'm about to migrate QFA schedules myself.  (They were created way back under QFA8, upgraded in place for QFA9 and now we are migrating to new servers for QFA10).

My VAR and I have hit upon a possibility, if you export the schedules from Windows Task Scheduler.  They are named in Windows Task Scheduler (on my machine) as "QFA8_<schedule name>".

So far we have only exported one old unused schedule (it's been disabled in QFA since before I took over about two years ago), deleted it from Windows task scheduler (which deleted it from QFA as well), and then imported it back to the same machine through the Windows task scheduler (which made it show again in QFA).  I assume I probably have to export the QFA information (the actual QFA schedule?) and Import that to the new machine as well for it to "appear" in QFA on the new machine after importing it to the task scheduler.

Since we only have one QF license, we have not yet tested importing it to a different machine, so I can't say it will work for sure, but it looks promising.

The drawback is that I can only export one at a time, I can't export them all at once, and probably can't import them all at once either. Not terrible for me as I have slightly less than 50 schedules, but not ideal.  Still it's better than having to configure all the scheduling information of all the schedules I do have.

Anyway, if there are any comments on the viability of this, I would appreciate hearing them.  Thank you!
